Mac Port S.r.l. strengthens the partnership with Terminal Container of Ravenna. The collaboration began in 2017 with the sale of 3 Liebherr RMG and a Liebherr Ship to Shore. These days the irish division of the german multinational group is preparing the components of a new dock crane, which will arrive in mid-November at the port of Ravenna. The new Ship to Shore will replace the oldest TCR’s crane and will be operating from March 2022.
The new purchase will come up beside the identical crane mounted in 2017, both equipped with a 50 meter outreach to work also with Post Panamax ships with 18 rows of containers and a maximum lifting capacity under spreader of 60 tons in twin lift and hook of 70.
Liebherr vehicles are always careful to the environment: they are actually equipped with a highly efficient energy recovery system and they allow to consume a smaller amount of electrical power thanks to their lighter structure. Liebherr also pays particular attention to the operator, both in terms of safety and comfort during work.
The choice of Terminal Container and therefore of the Contiship group is a confirmation of the quality and reliability of Liebherr vehicles, and it is a strong input to continue the positive trend of recent years.
