Ravenna, 14 May 2022 _ Terminal Container Ravenna has inaugurated yesterday (13th May) the new crane and celebrated twenty years of activity with a ceremony that has held to the port of Ravenna in the large square of the Terminal with the authorities and the most important partner. The Mayor of Ravenna Mr. Michele De Pascale, Mr. Andrea Corsini (Councillor for Tourism, Commerce, Infrastructure and Transport of the Emilia-Romagna); Mr. Daniele Rossi (President ADSP Adriatic Sea center north) and the summits of the company’s shareholders of T.C.R. Mr Riccardo Sabadini President of Sapir and MR. Alfredo Scalisi AD of Contship Italy Group and finally for the company Liebherr, CEO Mr. Gerry Bunyan and President Mr. Fabio Bilotti of MAC PORT – official agent Liebherr Maritime for Italy.
The new crane “Ship to Shore” Liebherr will be able to work ships with 18 rows of containers, thanks to an outreach of 50 meters and a considerable ability to raising (under spreader 60 tons, to hook 70). It is an important equipment of the latest generation that is added to the other four Liebherr Cranes that will guarantee maximum level of productivity and quality of service for T.C.R. Terminal.
