A Liebherr LHM 120 is operational for few days at the port of Ravenna. It’s the smallest model of Liebherr mobile port cranes so far delivered in Italy. The customer, Yara, has its headquarters in Ravenna on the north side of Candiano. It is a brand new customer for MAC PORT srl: its activities in Italy are mainly related to mineral fertilizers, chemical gases and industrial products. The crane is suitable for handling all types of goods; it has a lifting capacity of up to 42 tons. Thanks to the specific design of the undercarriage, it has great mobility and maneuverability in particularly narrow port environments. It also features an excellent stabilization system. It is a vehicle designed mainly for coastal ships: LHM 120 aims to be fast, accurate and safe at the same time. Liebherr cranes comply with high-level paint treatments in compliance with the standards of offshore cranes; moreover the turret is in reinforced resin to resist the most aggressive agents.
